My projects are pretty repetitive so I've been cutting and pasting scripting that I use all the time from a Word document. For some reason today I can't seem to get this to work.

I may have upgraded recently but don't know for sure.

Please can someone help me get this feature back? It really saves me a lot of time not having to reenter the scripting for each project.

Thanks,
Gerri

I have seen cases where sometimes the cut/copy/paste features in Windows stops working altogether. I know it may sound weird but it's happened.

Have you tried just rebooting your computer and seeing what happens?

Well... try with Notepad!?!
It will be much faster than using Word. In other cases, I don't know.

yeah, i once had the cut/copy/paste stop working in win xp, if my memory serves me correctly it it was caused by some virus or trojan that norton missed, i would do a virus/trojan/malware scan and also clean your registry

good advice that.

also ... just as a side note, you dont use a secondary clip capture program do you ? ... like clip-plus

these types of programs can have odd results on things at times, i use clipplus and it is forever stopping, although it is running, it just stops working

also, i would look to a program called "metapad" as a replacement for notepad, it works really well, and has lots of useful features and a whole bunch of features i've never even used !

Very true...I just checked it out and I totally agree with you. Its better than notepad in a lot of respects & offers some great options...

BTW if anyone is interested, heres the link to the homepage...
