Help With Installer (RegKeys)

Hi, any help on this one would be great....Im trying to make an installer that allowes Multiple Games on 1 dvd & upto now when I click a button to apply the nocd patch Ive used the function file copy & just pointed it to the default install folder (were I know the original exe to be over written is) My problem is it limits me to the installers default location rather than being able to install the game were ever i wish....Ive seen how this program can mess with registry keys & was wondering how i would go about setting it up so that when i click the button in question it takes the installed folder from the windows registry meaning i can install the game where ever i choose......

Oh & none of what im doin is illegal..I do this for a website DEDICATED to making Custom Installer for the people who already own the games & wish to add more than 1 to a single DVD5.

Again any help would br great as its not something ive learnt yet..

It says when I do what uve daid to make sure that I checked the database for help & im assuming the forums..& since no one else has answered this ill do both...still want some help here in the forums as its a much quicker way to get help..I cant really say my question is of low importance or high as its just help that I need..From what I understand its not a hard this to do, Its just ive never messed with the registry side of this program..
