Quick heads-up - trojan??

I've just done an update of my AVG free virus checker and doing a scan which is throwing up a report of a "PSW Generic3" trojan in one of my AMS5 .exe's and also in "C:\Program Files\AutoPlay Media Studio 5.0 Professional\Backup\sfe.dat.bk1".

AVG is still running and I'm hoping that it's a false positive - anyone else or any info?

hmm.. nobody else so it must just be me. Seems strange that only 2 files on my system that were very old suddenly came up positive.

Anybody else using AVG free version 268.18.8/718 of 11th March done a scan?

I use AVG at home (7.5 me thinks) and I did not get any similar issues.

OK thanks Adam - just as a matter of interest, what's "sfe.dat.bk1" ?

That looks like a backup file from a patch created with Visual Patch. You could try a full uninstall and then use the latest installer to install from scratch. Open a Support Ticket (http://support.indigorose.com) if you need new download instructions.
