Another newbie question

Hi again,

If I wanted a page on my project to display a slowly scrolling body of text, kind of like the start to Star Wars but without the forced perspective, what is a quick and easy way of doing it? I would prefer to have it scrolling automatically rather than have the user seeing the scrollbars.

I'm thinking your best bet is Flash for something like that. You may even find something using javascript that you can run in the web browser object.

I'm sure there is a way to do something similar using a delimited variable, the text object, and a timer. You could remove the top line of text on each hit of the timer until the text was empty. But, that isn't really a "scrolling" effect as you stated.

Flash for sure... You could do that in a snap with Swish...
