Sort Tree Items

I apologize if this is a repost. I failed to find it in a search of the forum.

I'd like the user to be able to sort (Move Up, Move Down) root nodes in a tree object. Does anyone have a quick script for something like this before I reinvent the wheel? I have a few ideas, But I'd like to see what's available first.

IMO, this seems like a feature that should be implimented as a pre-canned event for listbox and tree objects in furture versions. :)
