View Full Version : Slide Show
If anyone is interested, here is an example of how to do a slide show, using the media player object in conjunction with a javascipt timer to swap out the pictures at 5 second intervals. Change the value in the javascript to increase/decrease the number of seconds between swaps.
The project seems as if it is limited to the images that are shown as thumbnails, but you need only drop more JPGs in the images folder to have them displayed in the slowshow.
This is a modification of Corey's Corporate Slide Show, and with his permission I am posting it here.

Interesting approach... I have one I built in Flash which is pretty snazzy but that's possibly on the new powertips CD so I can't post it...
Nice work as always W...

Pretty quick, I'm just fnishing up. It seems like every time I try to finish it though something pops up. /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif Very, very, very soon...

Sorry....I have been 'hibernating' this winter up here...until this past week I have not had any CD-ROM projects....What will the CD be about? Drag-n-drop templates?

This first one is "powertips". Things which are cool that will make your projects better and easier to make but which you might not have thought of on your own... This is a definite "must have" for anyone who is serious about making cool stuff. I can't give away anything but you'll see a couple free samples online at release time.
There are more coming after that too. I just have to buck under and put in a few 32 hour days. /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif

Dude...U DA MAN as always....
Your passion and time spent around IR lends me to believe you need a couple of 20 girls to liven things up for you? LOL
Can't help you there....we only have 12 women in Alaska and I do not know them....LMAO
Looking forward to seeing the CD...

You hit the nail on the head. New town, hard to meet people, especially when your face is attached to a monitor 18 hours per day. /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif Life is grand though...
