    Masking Plugins

Was wondering what the limits are of the the masking feature in AMS 6. I have not yet upgraded from 5.0, and see that Worm's SetMask .dll works (for 5.0) with many objects, but not for that which I need to mask: a plugin object (I need to change the color of the the border around a plugin object; it is the same border that appears around a web object.)

Can AMS 6 do this? Are there any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

For the record... SetMask DLL should mask the plugins just fine.

But here is an example I threw together for AMS 6 to mask plugins.

If you need help with SetMask DLL, just let me know.

      Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply, Worm. I've made some progress, but may have another question or two later.

        Partial Border

        Hi Worm,

Can't seem to get rid of the plugin object border completely. It still shows up as a kind of a shadow lower right. Have tried changing offsets and page dimensions, with no change.

        Please see attached partial screenshot.

        Thanks.

It is a plugin object I had developed to replace a web object.

I've tried different size masks all with the same result, but I can experiment some more.

Guess I can't try it myself then.

Developing a plugin, way cool. Best of luck!!
