    Hey there guys. I've got a major product release in the next week and would like to get a better idea on the Vista compatability update so I can tell the board with assurance.

          I have an application that writes a text file to the users C: drive temporarily while doing string functions. It seems that MS security keeps one from writing to the root of the C: drive in Vista.

            Try using _TempFolder for temporary files.

              Thanks Tigger, didn't think of that. Vista does let you create a folder in the root of the C: drive, I was using that, then deleting it. _TempFolder is easier.
