Does anyone know how to make a custom program(created with ams) associated with a custom filetype?

Use appropriate registry entries.
File extensions are associated with programs, not vice versa.Never know what life is gonna throw at you. ZubTech -
There are topics on this in the forums as well. Do a search and you should find a function that will populate the registry with your custom extension and associate it with the application.
