I am creating a CD with AutoRun Max and I have buttons linked to many different PDF files on my computer. The CD is to be sent to customers with different product manuals on it. Sometimes I need to update the PDF's by adding or replacing pages. When I do this, I save the changes in the PDF but when I go to look at it again through the button in AutoRun Max, I still see the old version of the file, even if I close out of the program and re-open it.

The only way I have figured out to get around this is to completely remake the action for the button that links to the file, but this is a pain as I sometimes need to update many files, and then I have to remember where they are all linked in my AutoRun file! Is this the only way?

Thanks!

AutorunMax copies the PDF into its own file structure. Make sure you are copying your edited PDF into AMAX's folder.

Ok, you do this in the Project, File Layout function right? Then as long as I replace the existing files with the updated ones in the "Docs" folder it will show the updated file from every linked button?

Thanks!

Yes you can change the resources in Project -> File Layout. Swapping the files in the folder without changing the button links should work but be sure to test your CD to verify that the new files were included.
