As i was looking on the main page of IR, i notice couple of things.
That is:

1: prices of TU, VP, and SUF are 495$ each (so the price went down). Why?
2: Autorun Max has joined the IR family. How that happend?

If you don't want to replay no problem, just interest.

When I see something like that happen I believe a company is trying to make sure they are striving to offer their products at prices that are appealing to others and at the same time try to maximize their profit margin. Which makes total sense no doubt.

As far as Autorun MAX (2.0), it is a product that is like AMS in many ways but the price point is more approachable for those that do not need all of the extra functionality (at least at first) that AMS 6 offers.

Summing it up...

1. Price products so they will sell (try to find that "sweet spot")

2. Give more users than ever an "on ramp" to the I.R. product line.

My take on such anyway.

:yes

I'd say that Intrigued is totally correct. We simply wanted to make our full line of products available and affordable to more developers. In the end, getting more people into the product line is good for everyone.

As for Autorun MAX!, it's a good fit for home/small business users that want a low cost and really simple CD autoplay menu maker without all the power and flexibility of AutoPlay Media Studio. We'll make a full announcement on that in the next week or two.
