It's time to change the name (and use of) Laptop to, maybe, "AcrossRoomTop".

This happens a lot with DELL laptops i have seen it before (not in my lap). But this guy is lucky that it didnt explode on his lap.
I've seen a few news articles about these. It is a general issue with almost any type of laptop battery (lithium ion). If they get too hot they can go Kaboom!
