    Executing .exe from .html document

    Hi, I guess I am a newbie
I am trying to make an installation CD with APM 4.0.0.2 using local HTML pages. The problem is, when you click on a link an IE window File Download pops up and you have to manualy clik on Open, Save or Cancel button. I would like to get rid of this window and handle the event with APM (file.execute). What is the most elegant solution to do this? I've been fidling around with various scripts but none works without quirks (explorer window opens after file.execute). Is there any better way to make install CD compatible with most systems which contains pages with scrolling text?

Thanks in advance for any advice,

    best regards, blaz

Yeah there's more than one way but that's a good method behind that link Worm posted. Also flash can execute files.
