Grrrrr.... I just spent all morning messing about with the Three Major Credit agencies. A bozo who's given his address in beautiful Henderson, Nevada is suddenly showing up in my credit reports. My son has a friend who's a State Trooper in Nevada (and a hard-core WOW player, to boot!)... I'm going to ask "viper" if he can have one of his fellow officers "make a visit".

I've got my local cops working on it...and my credit card has been returned to MY control. I think I've got this nipped in the bud, but What A Pain.

Ah, man, that sucks. You seem to have had a really unfortunate amount of bad luck the past couple years. :) Hope there was (or will be) lots of good luck to balance it out.

I've heard that one should request a 'Fraud Alert' be documented by each of the 'Big Three' bureaus.

Then, no one can just get credit via your information, they have to go through "steps" first to confirm the person requesting the credit.
