Excellent! There are three fixes that I can already see that I will immediately benefit from.
Thank you Brett! :yes

There was some work on the virtual memory issues that some users encoutered, so let us know how this release works for all you guys in that respect.
Absolutely. I'll be able to tell right away so I'll try it and post the results.
My tests show that the problem seems to be resolved, if it helps anyone else out there who has also had this problem. :yes

Fix: Fixed a memory problem in the design environment that would sometimes cause AutoPlay to allocate large amounts of virtual memory.
So far it seems to have fixed the "slow load" of the Script area for me, if that is what the fix was to accomplish.
:yes
I'll keep checking. Also, thanks for the various other fixes (and even new Actions).

Looks good here. Memory issue seems to have disappeared.
I like the new control on the active status of menus.
Thanks

Memory-performance feedback:
ran ams 6030 for 24 hours, intermittantly over that period built and rebuilt projects many times over,
ran-tested the build projects, many times.(had ie running and antivirus monitoring)
minimised AMS for several hours, reinstated the App's window, loaded global
functions, other scripting panes , built -ran the build etc. with no delays.
At no stage did the virtual-mem-page file go beyond a difference of + 80 meg
from the initial load of AMS 6.0.3.0. Amount of Physical memory available was
not effected to be worth a mention.
No delays or performance loss in AMS or system was detected during the 24 hours.
On Ams close, page file usage cleared quickly.

I have a large project that was working fine in 6.0.2.0 but when I updated to 6.0.3.0 the pages are not displaying properly.
It is now leaving an empty strip accross the bottom of each page. This strip is the same height as the menubar. I am using a menubar and it shows up fine but it's like it is allowing the space for it twice.
This was a version 5.0 project that was upgraded. If I create a new project there is no problem.
I have tried everything but nothing works. I read in the release notes that there were some changes to the menubar and it seems to be related.

The image should be at the bottom as it is in design view. This program was about to be reaeased and now it's a mess. I will definetly be more carefull installing updates in the future. Has anyone else had similar problems?

I checked a project of mine that uses a menu and I didn't seem to have the problem. You may want to open a support ticket and have them actually look at your project (with your deadline and all).

Again, I really appreciate the "digging" on the memory issue. I had ran out of ideas. Your dedication inspires me and I'm sure others!

Can't you simply reduce the project's height in the Project Settings?

Can't you simply reduce the project's height in the Project Settings?
It's got nothing to do with the height of the project. It is readjusting everything and adding an empty strip accross the bottom of every page.

I get a yellow thing at the bottom left. When I run the preview, but not while editing. When I click on it, it takes me to the AMS website.... This was after my 6.0.2 update. Now, when I run the update for 6.03, it says that it can't find AMS on my machine. I watch it and it goes right through the folder....

Uninstall AMS60, re-install the original copy you got when you purchased and then check for an update again. Perhaps somehting was messed up in the Registry.

I recently downloaded the program update and ran it; there was a diminutive dialog box indicating a search, storming through my 2x200GB hard drives only to report that AutoPlay Media Studio was not installed on my system when in point of fact it was (6.0.0.0).
Could the reason for this failure to update to version 6.0.3.0 be that I usually modify the default installation path when installing software to my liking (i.e. C:\Program Files\Indigo Rose Corporation\AutoPlay Media Studio 6.0\)?

Installing to a different location should not matter. Try this: run the patch file from the same folder that contains the autoplay 6 executable (ams60.exe). The patch always checks the folder it is run from first. If that fails, you should re-install your 6.0.0.0 version and then run the patch again. If that fails, open a support ticket at http://support.indigorose.com and we will get you download instructions for the latest release.

I'm afraid the first solution proved as futile as before. I'd rather not uninstall the existing version and then re-install it since the issue may simply recur, and I 'm quite satisfied with what I've been able to achieve with it so far anyway. Thank you, however, for your kind suggestions.

Brett being the lead programmer, I strongly believe, would not stear you onto a path of destruction with concerns to AMS. That goes for all of the I.R. folks I have spoken to in person or via these boards, e-mail.
The Submit Ticket works (did for me a ways back). For anyone wondering about that. Adam helped me get my AMS situation in order very quickly.

And you wont lose any of your projects. The uninstall removes the files from the ProgramFiles folder and nothing from the My Documents folder. So you wont lose what you have done.

Actually, I ran into exactly the same problem few months ago.
Running the patch from the app folder didn't make a difference.
Uninstalling & reinstalling AMS fixed the problem
