Hi,

I have not used AMS for a while, I came to make an Executable today and it kept crashing, on running preview or compiled EXE it returns an error... "AutoPlay Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

THinking this was something to do with my application, I have tried creating files from all the templates. All have the same results. Can anyone help with this please?

Cheers
Drew

Hi what version are you using? This is visible in the about screen.

Anyhow step 1, uninstall then re-install AutoPlay Media Studio, that'll probably fix it. Let us know. :yes

Also, you may want to look at reinstalling AMS. If that fails then open a Support Ticket.

Thanks for the quick response guys, I was hoping there would be a quicker solution other than re-install, but I guess that seems the logical step.

I'll let you know if this cures it.

Ok, reinstalled and that cured the problem, but brought back an old one, which is why I think I stopped using it anyway.

As soon as AMS loads it crackles my speakers something chronic. Any actions I take with mouse movements etc.. it crackles like **** sounds a bit like a loose lead making a bad connection to an amplifier.

This is the only application that does this.

Still it's working now, so long as I have sound turned down whilst using.

Cheers

You should consider opening a support ticket, if we can get details of your setup and how it's occurring, we might be able to help.
