Computer History?

Hi Guys,

Does anyone here know how long Computer History is stored on a PC and if it is retrievable?

I need to know if an excell file was opened on a certain date and/or printed.

It was about 18months ago

Because of the long timeframe, any Recently Used listing has probably been long overwritten in the registry, but here is a list of common storage locations for MRU data in the registry: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/RegistryMRU.htm

Make the necessary changes for the version of Office installed.

Also, any temporary print spools (which may be useful in seeing what was printed) or the like will have also been cleared away by normal Windows temp file mgmt.

I don't know of any other storage locations that would be helpful off the top of my head, good luck.
