A few weeks ago I was tearing my hair out trying to get a PowerPoint-based presentation working as an autorun CD. I eventually realised I do not have the programming skills to make PP do what I needed and that it was the wrong delivery vehicle in any case.

I had never even heard of AutoPlay at that time but found my way to the demo version, downloaded it and paid my money after a few hours of experimenting showed me this was the software I should have started with!

No big deal for all you people who have forgotten more about working with AutoPlay than I’ll ever know but I’ve just had the formal sign-off call from my client, who is delighted with the final CD and particularly impressed at the speed with which I was able to accommodate the various changes he wanted from the version I forwarded a couple of days earlier.

So, sorry to sound like a bad acceptance speech at the Oscars but thanks to all the contributors to this forum for the postings that have helped me locate code snippets and ways of tackling problems I would never have thought of and a big thank you to AutoPlay …. I cannot believe how good it can make my efforts look!

OK…calmed down now…. :D

Support via I.R. is fanstastic. They even put up with my bad jokes, my overly persistent attitude at times and even send a "thata' boy (person)" note when I help enough here.

Ya, they get a gold star and this here "Got-er-dun!" (aka. solved the problem), plaque.

:yes

You've more than paid your way around here by providing support and resources for others I-man. That's actually why this place succeeds so well, because of user support. :yes

I wish I could do it more now. Anyone want a very-early-to-rise, long drive, go to unpleasant, loud environment styled job?

My eBay auction for such is going up as I speak (no, not really)

What me!? But I just... I... OK, I'll go get my hair done... and I ... well I... wasn't expecting... I... I'd like to thank the academy for having such impeccable taste in nominees, and of course my chiropodist for sticking by me all these years (We did it Jimmy!!!). Also my agent Izzy "The Chameleon" Morris, L. Ron, and the whole gang down at Golds San Diego. And last but not least I'd like to thank my sponsors Pepsi, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, GlaxoSmithKline, and Playstation 3. I told myself I wasn't going... to.. [sniffle]... cry [sob].
