I am about to start playing with Icy North's Datagrid plugin. At this time, I only have the two examples from the IN site. For some reason, I have brain lock on ideas for using the plugin.
I originally got the plug in to enhance the SQLite feature of AMS 6. But after looking at the samples, I can see that there could be more uses.
So, examples would be nice, but some ideas would be great, too.

The datagrid plug-in is ideal for any info which you would want to sort by column so it's fantastic at cataloging stuff. For example an app which creates a table of all the MP3 files in a directory and allows you to sort them by clicking column headers which contain various criteria, i.e. date, length, category, artist, last used, etc. + click on them to launch them. Or how about the same thing for files, videos, or images? That's one idea anyhow. I guess one could even go really crazy on it and build something like that for registry entries, or stuff like that. :yes
P.S. If you do the MP3 thing, please shoot me a copy, it sounds handy. :)

You could even use the DataGrid plugin for games. Say a Jeopardy styled game. Or how about a game that included tiles (cells) that each, when clicked, would change color and then one would try to match each color set (of two) in the least amount of guesses.

*Exactly*. Infinitous. Quizfinity! A 21 idea salute to you for acknowledging that:
1. It would probably be also good for an accounting or quick tax type thing.
2. Maybe a rate calculator or estimator for various industries.
3. Any type of spreadsheet application.
4. How about a personal real time stock tracker tool.
5. Dynamic web info display tool.
6. Or an arrivals card for a shipper/receiver or transportation company.
7. Inventory app.
8. RFID data tracker.
9. Retail theft reduction trendspotter tool.
10. Sales tracking and analysis tool.
11. Advanced log keeper.
