Launch 2nd window?

I need to Build a small AMS GUI that on a button press launchs a larger window or (page if possible) that points to a small password change page hosted by a Linksys NAS. Once the person finishes they close the WEB page , it should restore the orgianal AMS GUI from a minimized state.

i get as far as launching the 2nd AMS WEB app and minimizing the 1st AMS GUI, how to i trigger the restore on the Close of the WEB app?
