I do know what you are going through. I had a throw away digital camera for a week, then got mad at it and bought a Sony DSC-S85. With my 1 gig memory stick it is all i need. Some times I use the 1 gig stick to transfer data from work and home, makes it easy.....wait.....as I am typing this I hear something.....what is this? Oh hehehe it is the sun hitting the ground, the birds chirping, and the icecream man zooming by on an average 95+ day here.

Sorry, I could not resist.

It's -2 here right now. (Celcius) Yes, minus...

BTW if your typing gets disturbed by the sound of the sun hitting the ground you should check your water supply... :)
