Well the quality of the news is subjective, if you are a fan of patent rights, are tired of seeing the courts side with MS *no matter what*, or are not a big fan of the whole lawyer-vs-lawyer driven machinery, then you might not see it as "good", but if you are a webmaster with lots of flash currently deployed it'll certainly save you some time. However, in the end, the only ones who really "won anything", as always, were the lawyers. (On both sides) :)

Active X is, as you know, much more than just Flash and QT so this will apply to lots of other stuff too. I might be wrong about that but that's my impression anyhow.

Good point.

I was looking at it from a developers side. Who has alot of Flash sites and apps running in browsers and who plans on developing more in the future. Saves me time. For that reason I hope nothing changes at all. Just my 2 cents.
