Does any one have a clue on installation of windows USB device drivers, path and location of .inf files. In other words where does it go? I have been looking in to win 2000 systems, and some store info: C:\WINNT\inf others in the program files directory.
I dont have a preference where they go, I just need to make it when the user installs the software, windows knows to look for the device drivers. (where ever that is)
Any post will be helpfull, other wise the user has to browse the add and remove hardware for the driver directory (dont think about using the recomended option - because it never finds them)
