Something weird is happening in my project after copy to desktop function

I have a menu bar function that allows a user to copy a file to the desktop.

After this function completes and the user then uses the menu bar to jump to another page that (should) load a list box from another folder; it will not do so. It is only after the function as mentioned above that the list box will not populate as it should. If I do not perform the above function everything works as it should.

Any ideas what maybe causing this anomaly?
