Garbled Quicktime

Any idea why my Quicktime player plays back so garbled? The video comes accros OK, but the audio sounds like THIS (www.xmn.com/download/Special/garble.mp3).

Maybe the audio codec is corrupted or non-existant. I'd reinstall quicktime for starters - reboot?

Sounds Twilight-Zone'ish :D

Edit: and I'm sure you've checked other sources?

Flashbaaaaaaack. :) Not sure what that is, it isn't a sample rate mismatch and it doesn't sound like a codec issue. Sounds like CPU choppiness. Does it still do that after a restart? Are all your QT like that or just this one?

Uninstall, re-install, reboot, and all seems to be ok.
