Well, I'd PM this to Corey, but he doesn't do no stinkin PM's :D !

My godson (or is that Godson? or name-your-diety-son?) and almost sort-of-stepson (He's The Dot's Son) has left the Giant School In St. Paul (http://central.spps.org/) (zillions of students) for a charter school. El Eolegio (http://www.el-colegio.org/), in Minneapolis (120-ish students). The emphasis in this school is The Arts. Nick wants to do some work in audio mix-down, mix-up, and track extract. I can think of no better person for him to talk to than (wait for it... wait for it...)

:yes :yes
:yes :yes C O R E Y:yes :yes

So, me lad, would you be so kind as to contact me Off List?

Grovellingly yours,
GcB

Hi Gary, my life is super complicated for the next 3 months due to this surprise move, my emails are in flux, etc. Basically I'm just not set up for meaningful offline convos right now. But of course I am happy to assist. Right now my gear knowledge is very current, are you looking for hardware, software, or both? Or just someone to bounce audio questions off? Anyhow best of all is to just get him to post here, I'll gladly answer any audio threads and help him get through whatever he needs.

In terms of ongoing mentoring I'm going to launch an audio site and some video training for just that purpose but that is several months off after my move. Normally I'd hop on something like this but my schedule for the next 90 days is just absolutely brutal with this move. And then another month on top of that to get the new studio built.

That all being said... YAY!!! Junior's learning audio and going to art school. Eggsellent. Seriously, seriously eggsellent. I'm absolutely thrilled to hear this. I bet you he's going to do really good and get tons of awesome experience. :yes
