Holy Toledo! I've seen some wild stories in nature but this one *absolutely* takes the cake. There's a bug which replaces a fish's tongue with itself and then just sits there for the rest of its life, eating for free. Freaky, freaky stuff. Warning, this little guy is kind of gross looking. But the story is just amazing:

A good analogy of newly independent nations. hehehe. The surface looks ok, the body looks okay, the fish still looks like a fish, YET - the tongue is not.
