Hey! Someone has been playing with the Levels in Photoshop!

J/K... nice shot!

What visual feature makes you say that I-man? I don't see any obvious evidence that levels have been adjusted.

That's why I stuck the J/K (aka. Just Joking) in there. ;)

But, this is a horrible quick example (horrible, remember, that's this example) to point out what I was J/K'ing about.

Ahhh, I see. FWIW note the "banding" in your image, that can be one sign of a levels adjustment... :yes

If I had to guess I'd say Bruce's image is pretty much as the camera saw it, I don't see any tell tale signs of correction. Then again, it would be impossible to say. Either way I'm fully jealous. Photos like that make me question why I live here in Calgary, beautiful as it is. Surfing trumps everything else in the universe IMO. :D

To do such justice one surely would have to utilize more than just Levels to aquire that look Bruce caught naturally. (very peaceful, serene Bruce! coo!)

I have some real nice surfing shots, Ill see what I can find. ;)

Intrigued-
I did add a "Tungston filter" to my white balance (camera side) to this shot...mostly to bring out the blues.

Thanks for the slap on the back :yes

Right on! I wish I had some SLR brain wave activity. ;) I'll leave it to you pros (for now, muhaha).

Yeah, I didn't think there was a levels adjustment on that one... I figured the extra blue was just a camera flaw, sometimes my Sony does that at night. Occasionally I see purples and indigos showing up in night shots. :yes
