Thought this was a fun page and is used by some tech sites I visit (www.digg.com) to show where their users out in the world. So I decided to create one for the IR Forum Members. Add yourself to the map and give a shoutout to the rest

Tigg

EDIT BTW Digg has a lot of users, if you want to see theirs here is is http://www.frappr.com/diggmapofusers

I talked to a potential customer (on the phone) from Australia this morning. I didn't ask where in AUS he was though.

Actually I spoke to the head honcho at Curtain University WA -Production Section
about your Products- mainly AMS6.0. You may get an enquiry from a guy
called 'Howard Worth'. Good luck with that..

hey, I could always place my self somewhere else on the aussie map too !

Stevie Carr is in QLD, maybe he will add to it, (if you read this Steven)

It even says: "You can attach at most 1 photo"

You cheated the system :)

Hee, leave it to Worm to discover the system workaround. BTW that photo is cool enough to justify posting twice anyhow Worm, you crazy katzenjammer kids you. :yes

There are only 25 people on the map (teehee, caught me as funny) but a lot more registered on the IR forums.

Here is another chance to put your self on the map. :D

I am now there also... Eagle is so close i think i should drive around to his place for a cuppa :yes

I'm not sure where you are exactly Eagle, but i am 100km North of Brisbane so assuming you are in Perth that is only 51 hours of driving (4600 kms). Anyhow how hard could it be to find you WA is such a small state :D

Corey

Man that thing is cool, this sure was a great idea Tigg. :yes

Excellent photo Bruce! One of the few things in this universe that could get me off my skateboard on a sunny afternoon is a nice wave. :D

Hey, it look like at the moment I have lunchtime before anybody else does around here :yes - unless there are a few New Zealand people around these parts (or some of the Southern States of Australia - as they have daylight savings time at present).

Corey

It's 10 PM up here. Which is, for me, lunchtime also. Today I had spiced gouda with pickles and raspberry juice. :D

A good friend of mine just moved from Spain to Maroochydore. That's about an hour north of Brisbane I believe, so that must be pretty close to you Steven.

Lovely part of the world, he loves it there. I will be going down to visit it maybe next year, can't wait. :)

Although WA is a nice place to set up the Tent, I used to live
on a dairy property in Gympie, QLD. Man that State is magic..missing it actually.

I'll bang on your door one day Steven, try around 3.00am,
have a real mango for me will ya :yes Ah Nambour ..cool spot

btw the klms are shorter in WA.. its well known 'fact' :D

Dermot: Maroochydore ..magic spot ;)

(I sure wanna visit Canada some time and South America)

Corey

Well if you do make sure to stop in Calgary, there's no place like it... :yes

Calgary is the world's best city when it comes to healthy living, according to an international survey released by a London-based consulting firm.

Steven Carr

Dermot (and Eagle),

Maroochydore is about 10 minutes drive towards the East. We don't tend to go to the beach there that often as we prefer Coolum or Noosa. I have my Surf board (fall off board more like it...) stored at Coolum so we either go there or the short trip to Noosa.

Or on the other hand it is only ten minutes away from Montville, etc..

for any body interested here is the tourism link: www.tourismsunshinecoast.com.au (http://www.tourismsunshinecoast.com.au/) or even a better one which has a nice map on it Sunshine Coasting (http://www.queenslandholidays.com.au/sunshine_coast/index.cfm)

It's pretty cool when that places you vacation to are less than an hour away. Noosa North Shore, Rainbow beach, Fasier Island, etc..

Moved up from Victoria a few years ago. Figured i do all my work across the internet so i may as well be in a nice place than in a concrete jungle.

That's exactly how I ended up in here in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. :) I was going to move to Vancouver but it's a precarious spot:

Hey Steven, have a fresh fruit smoothie at the 'Big Pineapple' for me will ya.

Personally i prefer going to the Ginger factory (and then over the road to the Nut Factory... hmmm!! Macadamia nuts (made in just about every way you could think of).

And if you like Zoos, don't forget Australia Zoo (the one Steve Erwin runs) - has to be the best Zoo I have been to. May not have as much animal variety as others but just the way it is laid out and run.

Eagle
12-01-2005, 02:13 AM
Yeah the Ginger and Macadamia spots are fantastic, never got to Australia Zoo, pretty silly really was in the general area for 3 years....

Have a good evening cobbla...
