Transparant images (PNG) not showing on some PCs

Hi all. I've created a menu with 3 transparant pictures in overlay. All 3 are PNG and have the same transparency collor. On 20 PC's it tested this on, there is no problem, but on 4 the tranparency color is not shown transparant but as it it. I need to deliver within an hour. Does anyone know the workarround?

I have about 3 * 20 images in the menu, so I really need a sollution.

    Thanks

What color depth are those systems using? (256 colors, or 16/32 bit?)

Do the images look any different when you view them in another program on those systems?

Lorne, when using transparent images, should we pick a color from the 256 color palette? I seem to remember in v.3.0 that if you chose a high bit color for transparency that if the user's machine used a lower color depth, then the image would appear not to be transparent. Is this still the case??

      Thanks,

      Tony

The pictures were 24 bit 16 mil. colors in PNG. They looked correctly in a webbrowser on the same PC.

I'm sure Lorne can confirm that for sure but on the surface it would seem yes. After all how can a 256 color system identify any color outside of that gamut? I think it can't... It's good practice to use pure colors such as 0,0,255 or 255,0,0 for transparent areas anyhow until AMS can support alpha.

Yep, that's the case. Amazingly enough, I wasn't aware of it until you brought it up. That probably should be documented somewhere.
