Hi:
In this moment I try the Setup Factory 7.0 version trial, and I had create a project(for example).Everyhting seems work well unless Security Expiration.I had try with "Enable date Expiration" and then "Expire 1 days after build" and until this moment the setting don't work. The "1 Day" is expire and the software continues to run normaly without any stoped.
The "usage count expiration" setting work well!!!!!!Strange
I had limit for 2 installations and work very well!
Need Why to put something else for this work?
Thanks

Did you wait 1 day until trying the setup. If set to 1 day it should work on the day you built it. You may want to take it to a second test system where you can set the date of the system forward and then test it.

sacramento, your post was of interest because I have one project with the expiration feature (Absolute date) enabled. It is a v7.0.0.0 build with expiration 1st October 2005. I changed the system date to 10/07/05; worked as expected (stopped).
Today (09/07/05) I changed the expiration to "1 days after build" (now with v7.0.3.0), copied the app to the test machine (with system date 10/07/05). Worked flawlessly (stopped with a message box at start up).
I changed the system date to 09/07/05. The setup ran smoothly.
Sorry, I’m not to much help in your situation. What version of SUF70 are you running?

Can I ask, as you have exp. subject open...
Is this expire time set to installed app. or only setup package.

It only applies to the setup itself, not the installed software. If you want to make your installed software expire you will need to code that into your program or use a security wrapper program.
