Its never been an issue before as all of our releases using APMS have gone on CD. However now we need to release one to dialup users, its simply an installer for a software cd. However, my 1 page project, with 1 library buttin, 1 label and a window size of 640x480 is 1.3 MB!!! Can I get this any smaller?
Cheers.

1.3 MB would fit on a floppy, it's hard to argue against an app that is self contained and would run off a floppy, isn't it?
The AMS runtime is going to stay a specific size. The only way I can think of to reduce your projects size over that is to cut your graphics, buttons, etc.

Code the same in C# and it would be about 50k!!
So is the answer no then?
I agree, but when you are dealing with a runtime, it does impose restrictions. But lets talk about C#'s runtime, isn't .NET framework something like 140MB? I'd rather download the 1.3MB AMS app.

True, but the Frame work is there on the build already and when you are talking about 3000+ users... that kinda helps!
Ah well, theyll just have to wait for it!!! LOL
Like I said, I don't think there is a way to cut it down anymore, but someone at IR may have an idea. You could always open a ticket with them (support.indigorose.com) or wait and see if thay spot this thread and add to it.

Another solution might be Setup Factory 7. An empty project gives an exe with aprox 631 KB.

I reckon the rusted out opinions of a little old bo weevil like me surely don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy mixed up world we're living in and all, but... [sniff] I do know one thing for sure. Yessir. And that is that *every* citizen of earth needs to get a copy of Setup Factory 7.0 posthaste and forthwith. :yes

For some reason, that reminded me of the way a James Garner character would go about saying something. Maybe from Support your Local Sheriff.
