Avoid Flash error

Good morning all,
I could use a little help. I have selected Flash as a dependency in my project. I have a short Flash movie playing when you enter a page. If the user chooses "Continue" instead of "Abort" on the dependency popup, then when you get to the Flash page you get this very ugly blank white page and a "Unable to display Object ....." message. Can anyone suggest an approach to heading off this behavior? I was wondering if you could detect the plugin somehow when you enter the page and then use an IF statement to either do nothing or play the movie if the plugin is there.

From the help file:


Variable
The variable the detected version number will be stored in. If the technology is not found and the user ignores the warning, the version number "0.0.0.0" will be stored.

So, you could use this variable value to check if plugin is present or not and act accordingly.
