"Read Out Loud"

Has anyone noticed this feature in Adobe Reader 7? (View>Read Out Loud)... wild stuff!

Maybe someday this technology will advance so the voice doesn't sound like that robot from Buck Rogers.. :)

Speech technology is just getting ramped up. There's no question at all that there are speech systems on the horizon which most people will not be able to discern from a real human voice. It's just a matter of time. :)

The best publically available computer based voice(s) I have ever heard are the one's with regards to IBM's Natual Voices.
