Create each button's different 'states' (up, down, etc.) and then use the ButtonMaker.exe that is in this path (adjust for your system):

    C:\Program Files\AutoPlay Media Studio 5.0 Professional\Tools

yes i use these, but i dont now, how to make the corners transperent
      ( sorry i am german)

example . blue_oval.btn these button has circle corners / is oval

how do i do that ?

with value is used for the transperency ?

      i do it so:

      1. new file in psp
      2. i draw some fields with differnt colors
make the backround white, the inner is colored
      3. save the image as +png
      4. import it to buttonmaker
      5. crate a button & save them
i load it to am 5.0
but there is no transparerncy, the outer color is alwyas white

i have tried to load the buttons in psp, the color of the example . blue_oval.btn is also white and he is transparent in buttonmaker, but non of my own buttons has nay trnasparenz :(

You need to use the Save For Web option (PNG 24) and check the Transparency checkbox. Don't make your color white, leave it empy (the default Photoshop checkerboard pattern should show in the transparent areas).

Here ya go user2006 take a look at this, it’s not in the same league as Corey’s video, nor does it have sound but it will give you an idea how to do it in Photoshop and the button maker. See it HERE

I think User2006 is using PaintShopPro "psp".

When you save your .png choose "Save As" and then click on "Optimizer". Have a look at the various options in there and especially the transparency tab.
