Hi all,
I made a tiny project with APMS to restart my home-server when the connection with the internet is down. I named it PING, although it is no ping.
It is working fine!! Well... as long as the connection is OK
After starting it will take about 30 second, but then, every 30 seconds the program checks www.google.com (counted by numbers in the display).
When the connection is OK, it lets you know it is OK (so far so good).
But when the connection is down (when I pull of the cable from my ADSL modem for instance), it will take 4 minutes (or more) to pass the 30 seconds, and the system (win98SE) is working very slow...
What is going wrong here?
