Sample - Animation with a twist...

I found some code for the other programming language I use and I decided to tweak it and package it into an AMS .exe.

Now, what makes this neat (at least to me) is that the animation... get this... is really a long .bmp image (one image) with eight (8) images of Sonic in various running stance sequences. Think: An animated .gif broken apart and in .bmp format.

What I am trying to get working is a .dll that will allow for the customization of the image "strip" (aka. animation strip), positioning, timing (and what ever else I can come up with, find).

To me this is very cool and to be able to have this as a plugin for AMS (dang, I need to figure out the AMS SDK before I drive myself insane (or drink to much Cherry Pepsi ).

    Anyway... take a looksee.

Ok, edited, do you (anyone) see Sonic running? I want to double check that the image is loading.

Thanks (tired, I should and will now take a break).

I cleared the files from the AMS project's current working folder and then ran this new .exe. Black screen again! But, then I ran it a second time (after closing the first instance) and it loaded up. Hmmm... I'll check that tomorrow too.

          Thanks Corey.

                  Awesome!

I had problems running from the browser, but after downloading it and running it worked great!
I like it.... I think it is very useful......
                  Congratulations! You did it!

I am getting busy (close to my move to my (our, wife and I) new home) this week. But, I plan on releasing a .dll for this operation soon.

Ha! Ha! Thanks guys. Some good points I surely will keep in mind.

(I have two piles of stuff to donate already, and that's all cloths! Some kid will be happy... as I am donating a small Gameboy with several games (and the powerpack), which I used maybe 10 times).

Cool, some kid will love that.

Here I just decided to do an impromptu musical composition based upon, "Someone's back going out". This is for that exact moment when everything was going great one second but not the next. Attached... :yes

I took that file and did this with it:

And no... it's not the sound of my new laser pistol!
