    DLL - Safe Mode check

Another DLL... This one is called: DLLDetectSafeMode.dll

This DLL will (works on my WinXP SP2 system) check to see what mode, of three (3), the system is in.

    For example:

    1. Normal
    2. Safe Mode
    3. Safe Mode with Networking

Links (one project and one executable (.exe):

Wow! I'm officially impressed. You're making a complete mockery of the skeptic(s), if there actually were any. Seriously, you're tearing up some serious real estate and I just want you to know that I really appreciate the level of support you provide here in the forum.

      Thanks Corey!

I'm looking at a more advanced .dll (will be down the road) where one could access COM Ports and communicate back and forth. I'll hold on that for a bit. But, I believe a few people have asked for that ability. Then we can all make some neat things happen with hardware too!

You know.. it's a great way to learn myself... just by helping (or trying to help).

I noticed when I was real young that the people who consistently have all the best knowledge are the ones who are, "into sharing knowledge". As far as I'm concerned there's simply no other way to live.

BTW I have to add a caveat. "People eager to share faulty knowledge", cause I've met some characters in my day who... Boy hoo-ee. :o

Isn't a .dll better than an .exe?

Well, I found the .dll did not function as needed, after all. This .exe keeps everything inside of the paths of the AMS 5 program. Thus, it seems a viable option, or way to go.

OK I see, gotcha. Good plan. The best solution is the one which works. :yes

Plus, you can run the .exe inside of the AMS app. as a standalone.
