Button Caption from Variable possible?

Is it possible to use a variable as the caption of a button?

Yes, it should be. Just put the variable in where you would put the caption text.

Note that if the text in the variable changes, the caption will only be updated when the Image Object is refreshed. For more info, see "Refreshing Objects" in the help file.

Tried this, it didn't work.
All I see is the variable name.
If I use the variable as text on the form it works fine.

Is this a bug in 4.0?
