Can anyone tell me if it's possible to prevent end users from coping video files from a CD Rom under APMS 5.0, if so can you tell me how to do it.
Thanks
Frank
That sounds great, but could you give me a step by step account of how to carry out what what you mean, sorry for sounding a bit thick.
Thanks for your help
Frank
No problem. When you build your project (F7) choose Hard Drive Folder.
Go to the Next window, and choose to Rename Resource Files.
After the build, choose to go open the output folder.
You will notice a folder under AutoPlay named dat01; your video(s) will be there in a .dat format.
If someone is determined to snag the video, they will eventually get it but you could choose to make this a hidden folder for your burn to slow them down as they could simply rename all the .dat files to .avi, or .mpg or whatever till they get it right.
