Hi all,
Been wetting my feet on a client project in AMS and so far so good. Also cutting through the Speedy CDs as well. (I think I'm getting hooked!) But I do have a question about an GUI style I'm trying to recreate in AMS that I originally designed in a proggy named IShell.
The CD is for a historical town. One of the pages in the project is a map of the township that is several times larger than the window that you view it in. In the IShell version I built, you simply mouse over the map, click and drag the map around the window. The map itself is layered. It has clickable 'hotspots'/icons that drag along with the map denoting historical points of interest. When you mouse over a point of interest, the hotspot/icon animates. (a simple 'on mouse over' type thing). If you click the icon information about that site appears beside the window, as well as plays a musical clip.
Most of this is obvious in AMS. My Question is about the layered, draggable Map element. Is this type of thing possible in AMS? The map is semi transparent, and slides over a parchment background with a cool compass graphic.
There is a ton of things AMS can do, just not sure this is one of them. DOesn't need to be, just would like to know.
Thanks,
Brendang
