All I need is a transparent font background, this should be easy why am I missing this?

Sorry about that!
My client has a background of flowery crap and the text objects background needs to be transparent (so the flowers show through). I'm drawing a blank. (I should know this)

All text in AMS has no background over here, i.e. I can just type on top of any picture and it looks right...

Yeah It bounced off my head. How about Text Box Objects?
Is there any way to get them to have an transparent background?

Or...?
