I have a client that I have produced a project- included is a AM5 executable. Basically it calls up pages of information, includes a couple of flash movies, allows for small XML data exchange, and opens and closes excel files-

They now want to implement to branches (bank)- Want me to respond to IT department survey- I hire out for most of the actual programming stuff- I am moderately capable auto play 'assembler' but not a programmer.
Questions like:
1.Since your solution is browser based, what is the minimal bandwidth requirements to run your application?
2.Please Choose all the technologies that your application uses.

ASP.NET
ASP
CGI
Perl
C #.net
Other
3.What Version of Citrix Does Your application Support

Metaframe 1.8
Metaframe XP
4.Does Your application Support MS proxy server or ISA server?

Yes
No

Does your application have any special firewall requirements?

Yes
No
-and many, many more....................................any idea on where I can find the appropriate answers with regard to AMSS.
tks

Well, if you ask specific questions here we can try and help. Take a shot at it yourself and then ask here on the forums about any specific quesitons that you are not sure about. Gotta love those broad, useless surveys...

Development meeting at the bank:

Boss: So, Jim, what is the IT department up to these days - the shareholders want to know?

Jim (IT Manager): Well, things are going pretty smooth. We are even getting enough breathing room to start doing things properly.

Boss: That is no good. No good at all. Could you come up with some sort of survey that we could send to all of our vendors from which we could compile some statistics for the annual report? You know, just bombard them with buzzwords and ask about technologies that they have never even heard about.

Jim: Isn't that kind of pointless?

Boss: Do you like your job here, Jim? Do ya?

Jim: Yes sir. I'll get those surveys out right away... <sobs at the pointlessness of it all>

Ok. This is a start.
First, sounds crazy but....I use a Autoplay a fair amount- in the broad sense I dont know what it is or what to call it: A scripting program, assembler- is it C, C++, etc.
If I knew the overall (but techie sounding) basic description I could problably muddle thru.
They even want to know if I comply with Sarbanes-Oxley..........

Tks again

OK, well, it isn't C++ or C for sure. I would call it a scripted multimedia engine. Do you have certain options to choose from? If so what are they?

Well, as I said they have many questions on this survey. I dont want to say- "I use autoplay, go look it up" !!!!

One question is:
2.Please Choose all the technologies that your application uses.

ASP.NET
ASP
CGI
Perl
C #.net
Other:

other than some web enabled data retrieval (xml) and excel files, it stays within the confines of the autoplay app. (I havent figured out or used the other apps- like Setup Factory which I may need to employ to distribute and install)

Another question:
Choose the type of clustered Microsoft SQL Servers that are supported?

Active / Active
Passive / Active

and describe any additional software or DLLs required on SQL Server by your application:

Maybe the answer is N/A- and I'll go get one of my oracle database whizes to answer.

tks,
