I received this in an email...

Watch out for little old ladies..!

An operations manager for Jack in the Box was late for a meeting and called his boss to tell him he was running late. As he was leaving the voice mail message, he witnessed an accident and went on to provide "play by play" of the incident.
This is the actual voice mail message (http://home.swbell.net/kf5tv/voicemail.mp3). It was forwarded so many times within Jack in the Box, it crashed their voice mail server.

Fake.

If he were close enough to visually identify the book as a "harbacked NBI bible" you *most certainly* would have heard the crash. Even in a vehicle with the windows up, guaranteed. There are a variety of other details here which prove it's fake also, but the dealbreaker is that there is no point in space where he could be physically close enough to identify the book yet not hear a very loud, very obvious crashing sound at impact. The sound of a car getting hit hard enough to "spin it around" is *extremely* loud at that distance, even if one were speaking through a headset it would be vastly more than "loud enough" to come through. :rolleyes

He's not particularly convincing. That's a strange reaction to witnessing a gang beating, too - even an imaginary one.
