Just thought i would add a note here.
I have been using TU1 for a few years and over that time have refined the process as best i could. Still these updates took time. I would estimate that on over 20 minutes for each update as parameters needed to be changed many times over and re-checked, tested, etc..
I have so far upgraded several project from TU1 to TU2.
By making use of just the "Constants" along with the Publish wizard, i have reduced this down to a few minutes, but best of all I don't need all the extra changes/re-checking and also i need less testing on pre-tested update scripts.
All in all a fantastic upgrade. :yes
I even had one client reply today, asking how i managed to have such a good turn around time. :) :) (I have both Setup Factory 7 and True Update 2 being automated; 1 change at 1 location only)
