Yeesh. That's terrible.
I live about 5 miles south of where it happened. We get quite a bit of lake effect snow. The winds coming from Wisconsin come across Lake Michigan and the warmer water evaporates causing quite a bit of snow along the lakeshores even though there really isn't a "snow storm" in the area. Anyhow, there were some gusty winds and some white-outs conditions.
Guess it was an ugly situation.
Here's a link to a local stations site with some photo's and video

Wrom, I have received your help several times while working on a project. I did not know you lived so close. I'm near Lansing. I just figured that anyone that knows soooo much about AutoPlay must live in a warm climate :D
Hey! Hey! That makes for 3 stump jumpers that I know of that are active here on the forum. You, me, and if I'm not mistaken Sue is from the mitten state too. Intrigued gets an honorable mention for having lived here. RHosk might have too, I know he has family here anyhow.
Yup.....me too ..... I live in Jackson - not too far from either of you ....
