There's a little-known audio format far superior to MIDI. It was a format used way back in the day for Amiga games. Five minutes of music can be crammed into a 12kb file. I've seen programs around the net that have XM/MOD/S3M support built in and I'm wondering if anyone out there knows of a DLL available capable of allowing an AMS presentation to play the music. I've searched far and wide for such a DLL, and I've turned up squat. There must be a way.

For info on these types of files and song downloads:
http://www.modarchive.com/

Player (Winamp plays these formats, but there are better players out there):
http://www.modplug.com

The only thing I can come up with as an alternative would be to convert the XM files to MP3, but that defeats the whole tiny file sizes part.

Anyway.. throw any suggestions this way.
Thanks!
